Just a Normal Day!

Day 10: Just chillin in the neighborhood.

Hey friends!

Sooooo, I don't have very much to report on today. I woke up feeling not so great. It's not a food poisoning thing, however, I just think the humidly is taking it's toll on me. I am grateful that the Airbnb hosts provided me with a fan, but they know they're wrong for not installing an AC unit in this apartment. On the other hand, I should have looked at the list of amenities before paying. I am going to go ahead and blame my ex-boyfriend hahaha! I had EVRYTHING planned out and he just had to throw a wrench in everything. WHATEVER. Until then, I am going to keep drinking liters of water.

Just 2 more weeks!

I am trying my best to stick to the budget that I created for this 3-month journey, but I think I might get another hotel this weekend. I mean, it makes sense, right? Work hard all week long in my hot apartment, then enjoy the fun and AC near the beach in Cartagena? I don't see a problem. Do you?

Anywho! I feel bad that I don't have much to share, but work was a bit busy, and I've been trying to catch up on the House of Dragons at the same time. Maybe I'll have more excitement tomorrow. Oh! You know what I can share! I almost broke my neck while trying to run away from this huge black moth. I would have loved to have taken a photo for you all to see, but I don't do bugs. My IG friend William, who lives in Colombia, tells me that it is some sort of popular moth that looks like a bat. Gross right.

Another thing that happened tonight is that I was drinking water and nearly died choking. My groceries had been delivered and I waited 2 hours for water (as you can imagine, I scarfed it down). The family across the hall had their door open and just stared at me. Instead of asking if I was okay, they just got up and closed their front door. Maybe my choking was too loud for them. I was so shocked and appalled that I was able to snap a quick pic of the guy before he closed the door. Yes! I take pictures of people. HAHAHAHA!

Again, not too much excitement happened today. Just me being goofy and nerdy per usual. Tune back in for tomorrow's blog post. Maybe something more exciting will have happened!

Your friend,

BrookeLynn the Friendly Blogger
